Hayley and Braam arrived in Hermanus 11 years ago for the weekend – and stayed. They decided that Hermanus, offering the best land-based whale watching in the world, needed a space for backpackers.
And so it was that Hermanus Backpackers was born!
They still put on their rucksacks and travel at least once a year. So watch out for them on your travels or come to Hermanus Backpackers and you’ll find them having fun making sure backpacker visitors have a good time too!
Willing, able.. AND wonderful..Backpacker Managers are on site 24/7 so they’ll transport you to and from the Baz Bus or the beach; take you sand boarding or surfing; point you to the best spots for coffee or whale watching, make sure the bar is stocked, the pool clean, your linen fresh…. they’re cool, friendly and FUN!
