There is No better way to experience Great White Sharks than within the shark diving cage, attached to the boat! You don’t need a scuba diving qualification to go shark cage diving as you don’t need air tanks.
The cage is of the floating-variety and is custom-made with 12mm galvanised steel mesh. The sharks cannot get inside and they don’t try. The cage allows you to enter the sharks environment safely and enjoy the exhilaration of being only centimeters away from these mighty beasts.
If you can’t bear the thought – surface viewing is almost as thrilling! Either way – check out our brilliant shark cage diving special for backpackers!

Despite the freezing cold water, we saw four sharks, one of the big ones breached right next to the boat. But I missed it as I was putting out a cigarette! Can’t wait to go out again soon when the water’s warmer!

Hi,
Can I ask if your boats go out from Hermanus or Kleinsbai?
Thanks,
Mark

HI
I stayed with you about five years ago and I went on the Great White Shark Cage dive. I am not sure of the name of the operator, but he was great. I am coming back again and hopefully he is still in the business. If my memory serves me correctly he was in his mid-fifties and the size of a large rugby player. He was great, and I hope to go with him again. My finance is a South African, and I hope to share my best South African experience with her. Hopefully you can help. I wish I knew the date I was arriving I just know we will see you soon. I am flying in 3 weeks and will stay for a month. He may remember me as I left a yellow life guard shirt with him as I token of my appreciation. Anyway I will see you in a few weeks, and as soon as I know when I will make a reservation for a room for two. Thank you, Walter

Hello,
I am coming to South Africa in August and planning to do the Cage Diving for three days. What i would like to know is if your special (the R895 dive+1n. accomadation)will apply for all three days?
I would also like to know what is the names of the companies that you use and if they have any websites i could visit. The dives i want to do has to be on scuba and if possible i want as much time in the cage as possible as i wish to photograph them. If i need to pay extra for such a company please let me know (but not too much).
I don’t have exact dates but they are close to the 12 Aug – 14.
Thank you
Tina
